So last week i caught the Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band movie on TV. I had not seen it before, it is an amazing train wreck that one must see to fully understand. Somehow I don't think when the Beatles recorded the Sgt. Pepper album they had envisioned a movie that would have the BeeGees, Peter Frampton wrestling Steven Tyler from Aerosmith and a chorus that included Wolfman Jack, George Burns & Carol Channing.

Well maybe Ringo would've.

My ex-girlfriend got me that movie on DVD for my birthday while we were still dating. I've watched it multiple times, but I still don't know if that feeling in my gut is burning hate or a love so deep it cannot be comprehended. I think it is the latter.

On the subject of the picture, I love the style. It reminds me of some sort of film from the 1950s that you would see in science class while your teacher pretends to care about their job, but just wants to play Solitaire on their computer. Um, in a good way. I'm bad at compliments, sorry. The point is, it's great and I love it.
