I am doing a 1/1 commission that is now up for bidding on ebay, please spread the word it's for a good cause. Here's the link and all the details below...…

"Up for bid is a one of a kind commissioned piece of art by Dave Perillo.

All proceeds of this auction will go to the Officer Christopher Reeves Fund. Officer Reeves (Millville Police Department, NJ) was killed in the line of duty on July 8th during a vehicle pursuit, in which the accused vehicle fled police, after striking another patrol car. The pursuit ended when the accused vehicle broad-sided Officer Reeves patrol car on the driver's door, killing him instantly. Officer Reeves leaves behind a wife, Sue, who is also a Millville Police Officer, and a two year old son, Alex. Officer Reeves and I had worked on the same shift for the last two years prior to him going to the midnight shift two weeks before his tragic death. Officer Reeves was truly a wonderful man and a very good friend.

A few days ago I contacted Dave Perillo and asked if he would be able to donate a few existing pieces that we could auction off for the family.  Dave took it one step further and asked what I thought about auctioning off a commissioned piece, with the winner choosing whatever they wanted him to design.  Of course I accepted and was ecstatic that Dave would take the time out of his crazy schedule to do something like this for someone he did not know.

Winner will receive:

1 – 16X20 inch print on Archival Paper signed by Dave

1 – Hi-Res File of the designed art

Dave will do a commission of whatever you want (comic, movies, TV shows, your family dog…you name it*)

*With some limitations, so don't ask him to draw every single Marvel character having tea with every DC character.  Try to keep your request to no more than 10 characters. Nothing explicit.

Please allow a few weeks for Dave to complete your art.  Remember, he is a very busy man and is taking the time to do this for a good cause."

So I just got my "damaged" prints back from UPS after they denied my insurance claim, so basically I now have a batch of slightly bent prints that I am offering up for sale at a discounted price to try and recoup my costs on the print run. Here is a photo so you can see the damage:…

It's only on the bottom left corner and the prints are slightly bent, if you were going to frame the piece chances are you won't see much of the bend. The size of the print is 16"x24" and is a 3-color screenprint on cougar natural 100# cover stock.

So I am offering these "bent" ones at $25 each plus $8 for shipping in the US or $15 international. The prints will be sent USPS rolled in a tube, i'm not going to bother with insurance on these since they are already bent.

Also, if anyone doesn't want a bent version I have about 6 "mint" copies of the print run that I held on too and never sent to the gallery, those ones are $50 each and $15 for shipping in the US rolled in a tube sent USPS priority mail with insurance.

If anybody would like one they can email me at:

My shirt design i created a few months back has been picked up by a wicked cool tee-shirt site called Nowhere Bad! It's only available for 2 more days then gone, so don't be like Mr. Elephant and forget.

Only $12 bucks, that's mere peanuts in pachyderm currency, here's the link to buy one:

And on the Nowhere Bad page be sure to leave a comment or your favorite elephant joke like this one...

Why do elephants paint their toenails red?

So they can hide in a strawberry patch.
